My name is Ellie Lount. Since I was young I’ve loved animals— both learning about and taking care of them. In 2020 I completed my Level 3 Diploma in Animal Management gaining a distinction triple star. In October of 2021 I was then offered a position at Maison des Animaux doggy daycare and worked here for a couple of years, this has developed my training, knowledge and experience with dogs. During lockdown my cockapoo Belle was in desperate need of being groomed, this encouraged me to research and extend my knowledge, finding a highly rated training centre to qualify and pursue my career as a dog groomer.
I completed my Level 3 IPet Diploma in Dog Grooming in early 2022. I have since fell in love with my job and love spending time with your pets. I am also qualified in Canine First Aid and Dog behaviour and training🐾
Inside the Salon
My grooming salon is based just outside of Huncote, Leicester. The perfect location with amazing facilities on site. Maison des Animaux dog daycare as well as a secure dog walking field. A brand new salon with brand new, high quality equipment. A very relaxing, happy and stress free environment. My aim is to become the best of friends with your dogs and make being groomed a happy experience! Gaining their trust and making the groom fun and enjoyable💜

Deshedding
Even for breeds that don’t require clipping it is so important to have them groomed! De shedding them allows them to control their body temperature and also draws out natural oils produced by the dog’s skin and fur. They will feel much healthier and happier after their undercoat being removed💜Plus a lot less hair around the house, in the car and on your clothes which is a bonus! 🐶Nail clipping and ear cleaning included
Full grooms
Regardless of your pet’s breed, age or size, each of my services can be curated to fit their specific needs. I will clip and style your pet to your desire and what is best for their welfare✂️🐶
Puppy grooms
Bringing your pup for puppy grooms is a very important part of their training to ensure they grow up knowing that the groom room is a safe, comfortable and enjoyable place to go. It is essential to send your puppy to a groomer you trust so they get the best introduction to grooming, which makes it enjoyable for their future grooms and also prevent matts from a young age💗These grooms involve an introduction to grooming by getting them used to clipper vibrations, nail clipping, bathing, drying and brushing (as well as lots of cuddles and reassurance🥰)Also a hygiene trim and paw and eye tidy up! We recommend booking your pup in for their first puppy groom once they’ve had their second vaccination and will have 2-3 puppy grooms before they start their full grooms at around the age of 6 months🐾Contact me for more info and advice for your new pups💜
Ultrasonic Teeth cleaning
This technique is very effective for cleaning your dogs teeth. Using this method no brushing action is needed, simply done by holding the ultrasonic brush on each tooth which loosens and softens plaque and tartar which then allows us to them easily remove any. Improving overall dental hygiene, bad breath and reducing chances of dental diseases etc. You should notice a big difference in your dogs teeth even after just one session! To maintain them you should book in for regular maintenance sessions to keep on top of any build up.Don’t wait until it’s too late, most dogs will have plaque build up by the age of 2! Start early and look after their dental health❤️
